      "Sorry it’s been so long since we’ve seen each other. :( Feels like I blinked and suddenly weeks flew by. I could blame work, or say I’ve been busy settling a turf dispute—or y'know, chasing down rogue captains with too much time and too little sense.

      I think the real reason is because our writers got a little too excited jumping into five other timelines at once. Can’t really blame them, but I have started questioning if I’m secretly a side character in my own life. XD

      Anyway… I miss you. I really do. It’s not the same without hearing your voice or seeing that look you give me when you’re pretending not to worry. I hope we get to steal some time soon. Just us.

          I've been organizing my things with Black Lotus. Yuki has been doing well. She managed to fill the empty spot that Satoshi left us. She is smart and witty. I don't mind having her as my right hand. The rehabilitation is done. And she's changed a lot.

            You’re right. My men are tense these days. Too many moving pieces, not enough trust. One wrong look and they’d be on edge. But I’ll handle that. I always do. :D

            I knew you’d make her useful. You’re good at that—bringing out the fight in people without making them lose themselves. Tell her I said good work. And... I’m proud of you. Both of you. I know she will just pretend to not be happy when I compliment her, but she secretly is. XD

      I’m sorry I haven’t been around much. Things with the Ito Family have been… complicated. I’ve been clearing my name after everything that went down recently. It’s taken more time than I wanted, and I hate that I haven’t been able to give you the attention you deserve.
